My second scene is again with Piano Wargames figures. I view it as an off duty French officer chatting with a Tyrolean hunter, does the hunter's bag over his shoulder contain rabbits for the pot? Is his dog desperate to run off? Is the officer asking for advice. I think we can all put our own thoughts to the scene.

Imperial Guard Grenadier batallion finished
I have managed to get some painting done despite this time of year (winter); being my busy time in the garden before the heat of summer returns around late September. There is quite a lot to do as I have a reasonable sized yard and I do like to grow what food I can (organically) as well as care for my various orchids and other rainforest plants.
Anyhow, two posts today as I did the figures consecutively which seems to work for me. First of all, and I know it is a bit of a cliché, but I thought my French army needed some Guard Grenadiers to go with the Guard cavalry and artillery. So here they are (figures from https://pianowargames.de/)
