Fancy a Baden army?

 Hi all

Lucas at Piano Wargames has a wonderful new kickstarter project for the 1809 campaign. There are very few suppliers who make the Grand Duchy of Baden fiigures and these look as fantastic as all his others. Check it out with lots of photos of the models:

I am currently painting his Bavarian light horse and the sculpts are exceptioonal, Lucas, to me, is the in the top of the figure sculptors along with the Perry's.

  1. Lucas is definitely on of the best, and his war horses are big solid brutes. I have a bunch of Baden figures from Murawski Miniatures from memory, but I'll have a look at these.

    1. I haven't looked at Murawski figures for some time Lawrence and yes they do have a Baden range. Until I saw this new release from Lucas, I hasn't given a thought to any Baden contingent. I am soooo tempted!

  2. A Baden army is of course tempting but I have at least 1200 Napoleonic figures to assemble and paint, for Bavarian, Prussian, Polish and Spanish plus some Austrians and French, so maybe not for a while!

  3. Hi Iain 1200 to do - wow, I have nearly 1400 finished figures and that has taken many years to paint etc. I don't think I could imagine having that many to do. That said, I have just finished painting just one of Lucas' horses and it took me 4 hours from start to finish so you get how slow I am. That said, it is part of Piano Wargames last kickstarter and at this rate, I won't have nearly finished my order by the time this Baden kickstarter figures arrive in Brisbane next year.
